Unboxing Guide

Your first experience starts with proper unboxing.

Correct unboxing, inspection, and initial care are important for preserving the product’s condition and extending its service life.

If the outer packaging shows obvious damage or signs of having been opened, take photos and video immediately and contact customer service before proceeding.

Because the doll is heavy and contains an internal metal skeleton, extra care is required during unboxing and handling. Prepare sufficient space and time in advance and follow the steps below.

01 | Prepare Before Unboxing

  • Choose a spacious, clean, and safe work area. Prepare scissors or a box cutter, a soft towel, and a soft, flat surface on which to place the doll.
  • Because the doll cannot actively assist with balance or positioning, moving it may feel more difficult than moving another object of the same weight. Do not underestimate the weight or handling difficulty.
  • When carrying the doll, use stable full-body support. A bridal-carry position is recommended: keep the doll close to your center of gravity, support the upper body with one arm and the legs/lower body with the other, and move slowly.
  • Assess whether you need another person’s assistance. Improper handling may cause personal strain and may also increase the risk of dropping, impact, or structural damage.

02 | Open the Outer Packaging

  • Place the carton or flight case on a stable floor or work surface before opening it.
  • For a cardboard carton, cut along the top packing tape with scissors or a box cutter. Do not insert the blade deeply, as it may contact the product inside. Do not tear the packaging forcefully.
  • For a flight case, release the external latches first and open the lid slowly. Remove cushioning and protective pads before handling the product. Do not pull forcefully on internal restraints or packing components.
  • Regardless of packaging type, the product is protected by multiple layers designed to reduce impact and compression during transit. Remove each layer progressively rather than pulling everything away at once.

03 | Remove Accessories and the Head

  • Remove the included accessories first, such as clothing, wig, accessory packs, and other supplied items.
  • Then remove the head together with its protective shell and place it on a safe, stable surface. The head is normally secured inside a rigid plastic shell to protect it from compression and impact during shipping.
  • Keep the protective head shell. It can provide useful protection during future transport, moving, or long-term storage.

04 | Remove the Body

  • Once only the body remains in the box, begin removing it.
  • Because space inside the packaging is limited, do not try to remove all protective materials while the body is still inside the box. Working in a confined space makes it harder to support the weight correctly and increases the risk of pulling or impacting the product.
  • Support the main load-bearing areas with both hands and slowly lift the body out together with the cushioning material. Move it to the prepared soft surface and make sure it is stable before continuing.
  • Do not pull the body out by the arms, legs, or other localized areas, and never use delicate parts as primary lifting points.

05 | Remove the Body Protection

  • Once the body is stable on the prepared surface, begin removing the protective materials.
  • Use scissors carefully to remove foam, restraints, and protective bags. Allow each layer to come away naturally and keep cutting tools away from the silicone surface.
  • Do not rush or pull all packaging off at once. Slow, controlled handling provides better protection.

06 | Inspect After Unboxing

  • Complete a full inspection before first use.
  • Check the overall appearance for obvious scratches, tears, punctures, or shipping-related abnormalities. Minor pressure marks, packing impressions, or residual protective powder after shipping are usually normal and often improve after the material rests for a period of time.
  • Check the structure, including limb connections, joint movement, and the head mounting interface. Move joints slowly and do not force them to their limits.
  • Finally, confirm that all accessories are present and that the model and configuration match your order. If you find shipping damage, missing accessories, or an incorrect configuration, document the issue before first use and contact after-sales support.

07 | Attach the Head and Arrange the Appearance

  • After inspection, the head can be installed.
  • Before installation, watch the official head-installation instruction video.
  • Connect the head according to the product structure and make sure it is securely seated before adjusting its position. Then fit and arrange the wig and other appearance details.

08 | Initial Cleaning and Care

  • For the best first-use experience, perform a light cleaning before use.
  • Platinum-cured silicone is soft and flexible and may develop a slight oily feel after prolonged storage or shipping. This is a normal material characteristic and does not affect normal use.
  • Use warm water and a soft towel to gently clean the body surface and remove shipping dust or surface oil, then allow the product to dry completely.
  • Once dry, apply a light, even layer of baby powder/care powder to absorb residual surface oil and maintain a dry, smooth feel.

09 | First Placement

  • For initial placement, choose a soft, level surface such as a bed, sofa, or padded area.
  • Avoid leaving delicate areas such as fingers and toes under continuous pressure.
  • If you need to adjust the pose, move the joints slowly and avoid extreme positions.

10 | Long-Term Storage

  • For long-term storage, hanging is generally preferred. When hanging the doll, use a light-colored, non-underwire bra to provide appropriate breast support and reduce the long-term effects of gravity.
  • If hanging is not possible and the doll must be stored lying flat, use a soft, level surface. Add soft support beneath the lower back and backs of the thighs to distribute body weight and reduce prolonged pressure on areas such as the buttocks.
  • Avoid prolonged folding, compression, or extreme poses. Periodically adjust the resting position so different areas receive relief from pressure.
  • Store the doll in a dry, room-temperature environment away from prolonged direct sunlight, high heat, and humidity.

Final Note

Unboxing is not simply the process of opening the package; it is also the transition from shipping condition to normal resting condition.

Following the correct unboxing, inspection, and initial-care procedures will help preserve the doll’s appearance, structure, and tactile quality and provide a better long-term ownership experience.
